Have you ever encountered someone with such a knack for business that it seems magical? You may not be too far off. It requires a lot of creativity to pull off something that first started as a visualization.
Aaron travels to the Wizard Academy in Austin, Texas to learn from some of the most brilliant, gifted people to create a successful business, sharing a part of this experience on today’s podcast.
Everything, even the most grand, started out as a thought. We become the average of the five people we choose to spend time with. Aaron will be amongst entrepreneurial gurus at the Wizard Academy, which uses symbolism in its very structure as a learning tool. One example is of going down as a way of humbling yourself to get ready to learn. Instead of following the contour of the hill, the Wizard Academy went straight into the hill. At each end are two giant statues to help you learn, grow and THINK. This all started as a visualization on paper which was then built up into this fabulous destination on the hill country outside of Austin that is now satisfying to Roy and all those that attend.
Look for symbolism in your life that will help you grow. How do we say, here’s what I want my life to be and make it personal, special and magic? How do we make this dream, this visualization, delightful to others? Aaron says it’s simple; get a big dream, write it down and don’t be afraid of it! Just go for it and take baby steps. You can dream bigger if you WANT to dream bigger. When you dream big you make a difference for yourselves and the lives of those you touch.

As Aaron was mentioning traveling downwards to humble oneself, it reminded me of my visit to the National Museum of Wildlife Art just outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. From the road the only visible part of the structure looks like a very humble, small rock wall set into the side of the cliff with some fun metal art surrounding it. Then you go through the front doors, discover a hug museum niched out of the side of the mountain with an immense, wooden stairway down. It was quite the experience!
Speaking of wizards, the famous inventor Thomas Edison was known as the Wizard of Menlo Park as he continually created things that all started out as a visualization.
